ZZZ 3.4 Preview — What's Coming in the Next Version

Zenless Zone Zero’s next major update, version 3.4, is expected on December 2, 2026 (about 11:00 UTC, right after maintenance). Here’s what we know so far — and what it means for your polychromes.

The headline: Honkai: Star Rail collab

The biggest news of 3.4 is the crossover with Honkai: Star Rail. Two beloved HSR characters arrive as limited agents:

Kafka — the Stellaron Hunter’s do-you-want-a-beating energy translates into a disorder-heavy playstyle
Robin — the Family songstress, bringing harmony-style support to ZZZ’s team comps

Collab banners in other HoYo games have historically been extremely limited (often no reruns for a year or more). If you want either character, plan for them now.

New agents

Alongside the collab, 3.4 introduces Sunbringers — details are still under wraps ahead of the Special Program livestream. Expect the full kit reveal there.

When exactly? The usual rhythm

HoYo’s update cadence is reliable: 3.3 launched October 21, and versions run about 6 weeks. That puts 3.4 at December 2, with:

Special Program livestream: late November (we’ll have the exact date with a live countdown on our livestream page)
Maintenance: ~11 hours before launch, starting midnight UTC
New banners: phase 1 at launch, phase 2 roughly 3 weeks later

We track all of it — banner countdown, maintenance history, and livestream times — updated as soon as anything is announced.

Should you save or spend?

With 3.3’s Severian & Norma banner running until November 11 and a heavyweight collab right behind it, this is a “check your budget” moment. Our take:

If you pulled in 3.3 phase 1, evaluate whether phase 2 agents are must-haves
Collab agents don’t rerun often — prioritize accordingly
The 3.4 livestream codes (typically 300 polychromes) drop during the Special Program

Dates are based on official announcements and HoYo’s historical cadence. We update within minutes of any change — bookmark the banner countdown to stay current.
